Angie went above and beyond to lift her neurosurgery patient's spirits. After being involved in a motorcycle accident and needing extensive surgery the patient was left feeling depressed. He mentioned he secretly hoped that he wouldn't make it through surgery. After Angie became aware of how hopeless this patient was feeling she took the time to get to know him and she found a way to make him laugh and smile. She found that they both enjoy a 60's show called the "Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour". She was able to play him clips from some of the shows and it was a nostalgic experience for him. He kept laughing and thanking her. He mentioned that he was feeling a lot better by the time he was assigned to a room upstairs and was smiling and good spirits.
