Angella Dyer, BSN, RN is the Head Nurse in the Paul Paroski Family Center at NYC H+H/Woodhull. The Paul Paroski Family Center encompasses the PCMH adult primary care clinic, the virology clinic, the adult and child HIV/AIDs Center program, and the Pride Center serving our LGBTQ+ patient population. Ms. Dyer has worked at NYC H+H/Woodhull for 23 years and has been Head Nurse for the last 16 years. As Head Nurse, she ensures health equity and quality care outcomes by continuously providing personalized care to individuals from the community, including those who are negatively impacted by the many social determinants of health. In addition to the excellent care and compassion she brings to her work on a daily basis, she also serves as a mentor and subject matter expert for the nursing staff who report to her. She encourages her staff to develop their unique strengths in a way that best serves the diverse patient population. Ms. Dyer has established a reputation as the “go-to person” for those in need of compassionate care both within the hospital and the community at large.
