These nurses went far and beyond their duties. Mom, was dying and all the machines were removed. Savannah, Jenna, Ashley, Jess, and Norah were there asking if we needed drinks and snacks; they provided much caring and were compassionate, listened to us, left us in the room with Mom after she passed, and offered words of encouragement, gave us hugs, and kept checking on us. Due to Mom’s weakness, they left her in her room, and with permission, her brother and three sisters were allowed to go in and out as pairs to be at Mom’s side. Mom passed away Tuesday morning at 10:20 am.
