Angie Cress Jamie, BSN, RN

Angie was my pre-op nurse. She greeted me with a smile, introduced herself, and expertly explained everything that would be taking place. She introduced me to the entire OR team and they all worked together very professionally and efficiently to prepare me for surgery. I explained to Angie how important it was for me to keep my wedding ring on. She was extremely patient and took extra time to tape it carefully to honor my request. Angie has an extremely warm and welcoming personality and at the same time, it was evident that she was very skilled and professional. She gained my trust, decreased my anxiety, and helped to make my surgical experience at Davie Medical Center excellent. Angie has every quality of an Extraordinary Nurse and is so very deserving of the DAISY Award.
