Angie has taken care of soldiers, veterans and is now a part of the community nursing system. What makes her stand out… well, there are many characteristics I can point out about her in the few short hours my family has spent with her. She is very personable, she treated us with such kindness, and answered many of our questions with a smile. She shared her family memories with us and just did a wonderful job of making my granny feel comfortable and relaxed while her daughter-in-law was in surgery. I am honored to nominate Angie for the DAISY Award.

I would like to nominate Angie for many reasons. She came here from the VA 2 years ago and has been an outstanding addition to this department and team ever since. She has over 24 years nursing experience. Angie is kind & compassionate to everyone she meets. She has such a calming demeanor and really takes time to meet the needs of her patients. We work many long hours taking care of surgical & infusion patients, making pre-operative phone calls & staying late to make sure that our patients are being discharged home safely for a successful recovery. Angie excels with her IV skills daily & makes the patients feel at ease during and after their procedures. She is a joy to work with and I am so grateful for her dedication to make our unit successful every day. I am honored to work alongside her and to have the opportunity to nominate her for the DAISY Award.
