April 2019 Honoree
angie gunter, RN
We had an elderly patient who spent many days with us in the hospital. She lived at home by herself and from the looks of things didn't have much help at home. She had a daughter who was deceased and a son-in-law who did not live around here. As always, Angie stepped in. She noticed her clothes were not in very good shape and attempted to clean them, but didn't have much luck. So she went to the store and bought her clothes to replace them and took them to her. This brought a smile to her patient's face.
I am so proud that I get to work with Angie, who has such a big heart and of course, goes beyond her duties of a nurse for her patients.

Thank you, Angie, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
