My stay at the Birmingham Veterans Affairs Medical Center yielded a positive outcome, and I was really impressed with the compassion one nurse has for Veterans. While I received excellent care from all the staff, I received the best and most genuine care from Angie. Her commitment is a part of who she is as a person and the amount of compassion in her heart. I was having the worst day of my life, but she showed me, with a smiling face, genuine concern for my wellbeing.
