Angie gave exceptional care to my father while he was an in-patient. All his nurses were kind, but Angie was exceptional. My dad had several things going on and she took the time to figure out which response she should act on or how she should proceed. For instance, (on confusion) "is he joking, or unable to hear her or was he seriously confused". Angie read his body language. Because of her extraordinary people skills and her training as a nurse, she could relate to my dad. She also went above and beyond taking all the time he needed. She stayed with him until she was certain he understood. Lastly, Angie explained everything to our family in a way that helped us understand. It was a privilege to have Angie as my dad's nurse.
