Angie recently cared for two sisters who presented to ED with family and social issues. Managing the medical and behavioral health care for the patients was difficult in itself, as they had multiple requests to be together and participate in one another's care. Angie maintained a respectful, positive attitude while advocating for her patients' well-being and needs. She effectively managed patient issues, family issues, and law enforcement while maintaining a smile and compassionate attitude. Meanwhile, she volunteered to take additional patients as the department was very busy. The patients were very appreciative of her time and concern and they received the care they needed.
