Angie is an amazing nurse. I recently received a letter from one of her patients that confirmed just that. This patient came into L&D to have her first baby, she was feeling extremely anxious and fearful of all the things that could go wrong. The patient said there was one nurse who stood out over all the rest, who went above and beyond the expected. She felt that Angie "displayed the type of compassion that is truly exemplary". She said Angie was thoughtful, kind and cheerful which was essential during her long hours of labor. In addition to that, she said Angie's knowledge of the birthing process "made all the difference" in this family's stay. The patient and her husband were so happy with the care they received from Angie that they will never forget her.
I have to agree with this family. I have worked at Angie's side and she is always compassionate, kind, patient, knowledgeable, and a terrific team player. We are fortunate to have Angie caring for our moms to be.
