Angie goes above and beyond to show caring a compassion to a terminally ill patient. She has been a strong leader on our night-shift staff for close to 10 years. She cares about who our patients are outside of the hospital environment. Angie's outgoing personality makes her one of the best nurses on the unit. She connects with patients and their families on an intimate level. She is the nurse who takes the time to ask questions about our patient's lives, their likes and dislikes. She will take the time to answer any questions, take a trip to Wawa to buy someone their favorite treats, and always ensures the comfort of the patients and their families. In the ICU this type of compassion is necessary. Angie took the time to make a patient's last birthday very special by decorating the patient's room and planning a party. The family and patient were very grateful for Angie's caring nature.
