Angira Gautam, RN

Angira is known to be diligent, caring, consistent, helpful, positive, and very hardworking. Even though this is her usual, I needed to make sure she is recognized for this as well as her persistence with a particular, exceptionally difficult patient.

There was a patient in Dept 430 that had many code greys called on him, and many times he refused his medication. Even though he was a complex care with multiple underlying factors involved in his confusion and agitation and aggression, Angira persisted with all the patience and grace a nurse could have. Not only did she not give up on trying to help him and keep him safe, but he was calmed and even agreeable to the important medications he really needed. She simply deserves kudos because she puts in the work and relentlessly cares. Also thanks to her for all the extra shifts she helped out with when the team is short-staffed. A million thanks!
