When you are very sick and Tina (Augustia) is around, the feeling of being taken care of with compassion is felt. During the time when my husband was intubated and in the ICU, Tina was one of the nurses who looked after his needs. She stood out among other nurses who are equally professional and skillful, but her compassion is admirable. She would reach out to me and reassure me that my husband would be fine.
Every shift she changed my husband's robe. Always provided clean linen. Tina is very approachable. She always took the time to explain without me feeling rushed, so I could understand what was happening. She is very patient, kind, and she knows exactly how to make my husband comfortable.
