Ms. Ani has been with ENT-Audiology since April 2005, up to present and worked as a Staff Nurse in ENT-Audiology Unit. She has exhibited consistent competence in her work and displayed constant punctuality in her duty. She is assigned in Audiology Speech Clinic in which she is handling deaf and mute patients. This is a challenging role for a nurse to be assigned to patients with language barriers but through her initiative and dedication, she tries to explain the nursing procedures to the patients through sign language. She has good communication skills and strategies to connect to all patients with language barriers in order to perform her duty as a nurse and maintaining patients' safety at all times. She is patient even to uncooperative patients and tries to explain through sign language the procedures to be performed to make the patient at ease and comfortable. She welcomes the patients with a greeting and a smile that makes the patient feel calm while in the clinic and never fails to give health education to patients and families. Furthermore, she can work alone and manage her clinic without asking for help from anyone even when she's not feeling well.
Ms. Ani can handle and work under pressure. She performs and acts as Head Nurse. One time when the acting HN got sick and was admitted without any proper endorsement. She is a team player and with good decision making while she was acting as HN in my absence.
Because of her competence, skills and good behavior, she is given more tasks aside from a staff nurse. She is a member of different Nursing committees as a representative of the unit like, NUBC, Champions and Nursing practice council which she had contributed a lot for the improvement of the unit that makes her extend her time and never leave her job undone without asking for any compensation.
