I had a total hip replacement and was fortunate to have Ani as my nurse 2 of the 3 days I was there. She is very reassuring as a nurse. She was very comforting in every aspect like a mother taking care of their child. Her compassion was displayed in her care. She knew what was scheduled for therapy, dressing changes, bath, etc. and would relay all of this to me so I knew what was coming. In addition she would coordinate my pain management to the schedule to best keep my pain lowest and explain why and how she was doing this. I never felt in the dark. I feel she went way above the normal duties, making me feel comfortable. I feel lucky to have had her as my nurse and feel like she deserves this award.
