I am frequently hospitalized on 4 West for treatment of pyelonephritis. I have been fortunate for many years to have been in the care of Anita Brooks. She has a level of sensitivity, compassion, professionalism, and competency beyond compare!
I have a very difficult issue with IV access. Anita has always gone above and beyond to help solve this problem. She even came up to the floor last week to help with my IV access - when she was only in the hospital for a meeting. In the uncomfortable world of being hospitalized, Anita makes me feel safe, comfortable, and secure. She is truly awesome! That is why Anita Brooks deserves the DAISY Award!
