I was very thankful to have amazing nurses but Anita Garcia stood out to me the most. Ani, thank you for the kindness you showed me from the beginning and for guiding me through my first three nights on the unit. Thank you for being understanding, listening to my concerns/worries, and doing whatever you could to make me comfortable. You went out of your way to ensure I was in an environment that I could rest and heal without any other distractions. You not only provided amazing care but also took the time to educate me throughout the whole process and dressing changes so I could learn as well. Thank you for being the type of nurse I strive to be one day. Thank you for being such a bright light during a very dark week, I’m forever grateful we crossed paths!
