Anita went above and beyond in caring for my husband while he stayed a few days after surgery. She was very compassionate with both of us. When she noticed something she could do to make him more comfortable, like providing a small fan when he was constantly feeling hot, to giving his meds and pain medication on time. Waiting was never an issue.

Before she left his side, Anita would inquire if I needed anything like coffee or water, which no one ever did while I was with him. When she was on duty, I felt very confident that I could leave him in her care while I ran home to take care of our pets or to run an errand. She would also take the time to explain things to us that were easy to understand. We never felt like she was ever rushed even though we knew she was busy. My husband and I are in our 70's. We've had good nurses and not-so-good nurses, but never a nurse as kind, compassionate, and patient as Anita Grant. She is truly remarkable and one of a kind. She is the best nurse both of us have ever encountered. I am so thankful that we were blessed to have Anita as his nurse.
