Anita is an exceptional nurse. She provides care and companionship to some of our most challenging patients, receiving little gratitude or thanks in return. She is a true living, breathing example of the ethical principle, "The Golden Rule," treating others as she would want to be treated. She always makes attempts to provide redirection, distraction, or anything else she can think of prior to administering PRN medication.

It is not uncommon for Anita to sit one-on-one with a patient who can't sleep or won't stay in bed. She makes every attempt to attain as much information as she can about her patients in an attempt to better meet their needs. Anita is also recognized as an outstanding nurse by her peers. She listens with kindness and compassion, making a personal connection, treating every patient as a person and not just a patient.
