Anita McLaughlin, RN, BSN

Anita is recognized frequently by BHU and Atrium hospital staff for her genuine kindness, ongoing support, and can-do attitude with a smile. Anita is one of the charge nurses for BHU. Her teamwork and very positive approach with a tremendous knowledge of mental health issues create a wonderful balance as a co-worker and charge nurse. Anita teaches AVADE, our new class which provides skills when interacting with violent patients. She has taught varied forms of this instruction over the past few years. She is often complimented by physicians and co-workers on BHU for her patience and selfless willingness to teach and assist others during her shift. You can always depend on Anita for advice and direction in the most difficult situations. She encompasses Premier's core values of Respect, Integrity, Compassion, and Excellence.
