On a daily basis, Anita Patrick embodies the MedWest nursing values of professionalism, quality, respect, service, and teamwork. Anita shows professionalism daily in her interactions with her patients and coworkers. She consistently delivers quality nursing care to her patients. She is respectful and honest with patients and coworkers. Her commitment to the delivery of quality services is shown daily in her interactions with each of her patients. Her patients are highly complementary of her nursing abilities and compassionate care.
Anita is a team player. She is willing to accept changes to her schedule or see extra patients when the need arises. Anita has cancelled her PTO days to accommodate the facility when the census was high. Recently, when a patient had a fall, Anita willingly accepted the added visit to assess the patient for injury. This visit was in addition to her daily schedule. Anita is ready to accept extra visits whenever needed. She also agreed to assist a newer nurse with an evening admission. This was after her scheduled day of patient visits.
She assisted the nurse with the IV infusion and admission documentation. Anita accepted the added assignment without complaint. Anita has a true heartfelt desire to serve this community and her patients. She truly deserves recognition for being an outstanding nurse.
