Anjelica is continually a positive role model for staff in ICU 2. She has a special way about her approach to patient care, interaction with staff and family members which sets her apart from her peers. She approaches her patients with tenderness, compassion, intelligence and strong nursing knowledge and ability. She has put the needs of the unit and the patients we serve at the forefront of her priorities and often times has been the solution to significant staffing concerns on the unit, all the while maintaining a positive and upbeat attitude. She is seen as a leader among her peers, not only as a knowledge resource but as a confidant and faithful friend. Her sweet spirit and team player mentality truly enhance the experience had by the patients that she encounters, as well as the associates she consistently models these behaviors for.
