When I met nurse Anjila I was nervous and scared about my condition. I was in pain. Nurse Anjila was very caring and patient with me. She reassured me that I would be taken care of and that I would be well. Her words and actions during my brief stay at this hospital gave me peace of mind and comfort. Nurse Anjila would come to my room every morning to check on me and make sure I was doing fine. I learned that she is a great nurse because she showed compassion and caring. I also learned that she is from Nepal and we talked about our respective homelands. During my stay, she demonstrated her commitment to helping others in need. Because of my illness, I was not allowed any food but when the procedure wasn’t scheduled she took time out of her busy day to find me juice and crackers. I am very grateful that Nurse Anjila took care of me.
