I was admitted to Rush for seizures. While finding out I had other issues I have come across a countless number of nurses and assistants. Ann was always different. She kept me updated on my condition as much as she was able to and was always around the clock making the best decisions so I could be comfortable. Mentally, being admitted into the hospital brought me down. I shed tears constantly on a daily, and it took a wonderful woman like Ann to come in, close the door and tell me she cared and was here to listen.
I immediately broke down, sharing things that have been bottled up from years to days. No judgment was ever passed. I was never looked down upon. She helped me so much by just listening, handing me tissues, and making sure I had the resources I needed to get help. This is a great woman. She deeply cares for her patients, which is hard to come by.
