She showed me that she truly cared.
Story 1: I recently had the pleasure to have her as my nurse for heart failure and pulmonary hypertension; I wasn't feeling well at all and was emotional. I had a very rough day and was upset with news shared with me by a physician, causing me to have a complete meltdown. I had given up and wanted to go home. She took time to spend with my husband and me and just talked, saw what I needed, and really listened. She encouraged me and got a lot of things done medically on my behalf. She took time to look things up and get me answers. She walked the halls with me numerous times with encouragement and support.
Story 2: This nurse was so sweet and attentive. She showed me that she truly cared. I was so scared of being in a new hospital with new doctors, but she made sure she explained everything to me and kept me informed of everything that was going on. She truly deserves to be recognized. From the start of her shift until the end, she executed my health plan with extreme care. Story 3: The nurse allowed the progress of healing to march forward. She has a bedside manner that allowed me to "feel" helped and cared for. We hear about our 'mistakes,' not our 'good jobs!' She was with me throughout my stay and was a true caregiver. She was very helpful and always in a good mood. So very friendly. She really made the time I had, as my nurse, better and easier on me. She always had a smile!
