Ann Etter, BSN

Ann has been an ER RN at Huntington for greater than 30 years, and she is well known, loved, and trusted by our community. She consistently provides compassionate, thorough care to every patient she treats. Ann has a heart of gold and genuinely epitomizes what it means to be a nurse. I have heard several patients who say they have chosen Parkview Huntington Hospital to be their healthcare provider simply because of the care they received by Ann. In addition to the care Ann provides to her patients, she is a wonderful mentor and coworker. Ann has been nicknamed "Momma Ann" around our department because she has "raised" several of us from new grads. Ann has taught all of us what it means to be a nurse. She has taught each of us how to advocate for our patients and recognize when our patients need immediate help, whether physically or emotionally. Ann deserves recognition for being such a wonderful, uplifting, and supportive nurse to our community, as well as being a source of guidance and leadership to her coworkers.
