After having an early morning (8 AM) heart catheterization, I was taken to the RMC second floor (2E) for observation. Nurse Ann Furtick introduced herself and informed me that she would be my nurse and told me about the bed controls, etc. Sometime thereafter (30 minutes to an hour), I had a "bleed-out"; Nurse Furtick immediately took action by applying pressure to the bleeding area preventing further loss of blood and thereby saving my life. I am grateful for her swift, efficient action and assistance!

Nurse Ann Furtick is competent, friendly, efficient and can perform exceedingly well under pressure and/or in emergency situations! I am eternally grateful for her quick, efficient actions. Nurse Furtick is deserving of the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses and my eternal gratitude!
