My son became an inpatient due to what appeared to be pulmonary embolisms. Surgery revealed pulmonary myxomas in his aorta. He had never, in his 36 years, been a hospital patient, so this was a first for him!
Ann Hancock was his nurse during both stays. I can't say enough wonderful things about the excellent level of care she provided! Ann was super-efficient and highly skilled, as well as caring and sensitive. I really appreciated Ann's knowledgeable answers to our questions about his treatment and medications. She also gave excellent advice about what to expect and how to handle the given situations we encountered. She obviously has a great combination of medical experience as well as empathy with patients.
Ann is an outstanding credit to her profession and a shining star at Lakeview Regional Medical Center! She definitely surpassed our expectations with her excellent level of care during his hospital stay. Kudos to Ann Hancock!
