I was brought to Crouse ICU via ambulance transport from Memorial Hospital. Upon arrival, I was completely distraught and scared. Ann made me very calm and relaxed and took the time to explain things to me in terms that an average person could understand. Throughout my stay Ann went above and beyond and brought a smile to my face when she came on duty. She is an extraordinary nurse. Ann also went above and beyond reassuring my family but also making sure that I was getting ample rest. She politely dissolved situations and made it easier for me to concentrate on me. She also went as far as remembering little details from our conversations (which made me feel human) and I could see the compassion and honest concern in her face.
