I would like to nominate Ann Schafer in the NICU. Ann is a coworker of mine and was also present to console me and my family after my son was stillborn. Ann offered to take my son to the morgue. She brought a basket and took him there. It meant so much to me that she offered to take my precious son to the morgue when it was so hard for me to say goodbye. Her response was, "You would've done it for me." Ann demonstrated great compassion and caring by helping a coworker (now patient) in a very difficult time of loss and grief.
