Dealing with a rare hereditary condition with no cure is a daunting task. My husband and I retired to this area after many years of teaching. We needed an Outpatient Department. This is where we met Ann. I have a strict infusion protocol that a nurse must follow every 2 weeks. For the last ten years, Ann has been my primary nurse. There have been so many times that she has given me and my husband emotional support and we trust her to make the appointment run smoothly. Her compassionate care never ceases to amaze me. Ann's service in her work environment is excellent and she goes above and beyond to solve a problem. When I think of Ann, I think of her professional skills, such as critical thinking, tenacity, compassion, and having the best plan for me. Her sense of humor is appreciated and she has helped me lead a better life. She deserves a DAISY Award.
