It’s with great pleasure that I write to you today to nominate Mrs. Berg for the DAISY Award. She is very kind and caring to each and every student, she always goes above and beyond and invests so much time into helping us learn and understand to the best of our abilities, she’s the one who made it possible to get through that very short class, she made teaching and learning fun and made us all look forward to coming to class. I can speak for everyone when I say Mrs. Berg is the kindest, most caring person you will ever meet, she isn’t afraid to grab one of us while we are at clinical and shows us the ropes within mother baby, she’s always there to provide teaching no matter if it’s in theory or clinical, she also would get so happy when we would pass our tests or ATIs, I remember I had passed my last test in theory and I didn’t have to remediate and she gave me the biggest hug after she had seen I passed all 4 of them, it made me feel so proud and so good of myself. She also looks at and cares for the patients as if they’re her own family members, as we should. I really look up to Mrs. Berg, and for that reason, I aspire to be like her someday. Thank you for encouraging all of us to be the best nurses we can be.
