Anna Chicken, RN

My 49-year-old husband had a triple bypass. This was not totally expected but we were ready to help him feel better. We have had Anna as our night nurse both nights here. She, quite frankly, is a rock star. She is thorough and compassionate. We appreciate that she explains her actions before and while providing care. She is calm and in control. She is honest and reassuring. When she walked into the room on night two, I felt so thankful. While everyone here is amazing, we really synced with her approach and felt like we had this team. And she continually refers to the tight-knit team on this floor. She is a true team player and we've enjoyed watching her work with her co-workers and we appreciate them too. She is an amazing nurse and has helped my husband get through some tough things. This whole bypass recovery is so intense. We never want to be here for this reason again, but would be lucky to have Anna if that happened. She is so skilled, and we think she's very special.
