My father has stage III Lung Cancer. While taking treatment for the cancer he developed pneumonia in both lungs causing him to be sent to ICU. My father is older and set in his ways. Anna Claire went above and beyond for my father. She NEVER made him feel like he was a burden. She came in and checked on him every 30 minutes or so like clockwork. He can be grouchy at times, but she never changed the way she treated him. My father does not compliment people and he told me he was treated like a king. My mother passed away from Non Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2011 so this is not easy for us. She treated us as if we were family and had known each other all of our lives. She joked with us. She laughed with us. She cried with us and reassured me that my father would make it out on top! I have NEVER in my 28 years of life been treated so kindly by a complete stranger. I have spent over half of my life in and out of the hospital with my mother and this was the first time my heart has ever been content with leaving my father because I knew Anna Claire would take such good care of my old-timer!  She has made a difference in our lives. She definitely picked the right field for work. She has a pure heart of gold!

Thank you, Anna, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
