I call Anna the sunshine nurse. She always comes to the unit with a big smile and is ready and eager to work. While caring for a patient in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Anna realized that it was the patient’s birthday. Upon full recovery from anesthesia, she ordered a birthday cake for the patient. Both the patient and wife were so grateful for this gesture and attention to detail. This is just one example of Anna’s care and dedication to her patients.
