The entire CVICU staff has set the standard for excellence where my medical needs were concerned. Anna Helm not only met the Baptist standards, but she also raised the bar when it comes to patient care! She was friendly, efficient and caring on each shift I was under her care. I've been through 5 major heart procedures over the last 12 years. I also suffered 5 heart attacks over the last 6 months. These left me with 2 options, 3-6 months to live or LVAD surgery. I made peace with the first option. Anna listened to my concerns and without being invasive, she constantly encouraged me to choose the option that would prolong my life. I'm set for my LVAD in 2 weeks! For this, I am grateful. Thank you, Anna.
