On my first day on Ortho, I had the opportunity to meet Anna. She was very at ease with her nursing skills, and she was quick to explain everything to me. She went the extra mile and eased a lot of my anxiety, especially since this was my third admission, and any knowledge or understanding I thought I had went out the door. Simply put, when laying in bed as a patient, everything looks different. She listened as I spoke about my personal life, and that means a lot in the busy world we all live in. She made me feel like I mattered.
