Anna Hewett is a very deserving candidate for the DAISY Award. Anna treats her staff with the utmost respect and kindness. She goes home early and takes PTO so others can get their hours. She fills in with no hesitation when someone asks for help, including other departments during the COVID Pandemic. She talks to patients daily and is so sweet and knows just how to make them smile. She also goes above and beyond for our Wound Center physicians making sure they all stay up-to-date on any changes and patient issues. She leads the nursing staff in the Wound Center with knowledge of wounds like no other and is a wonderful mentor to all.
