My husband’s condition brought us here – over forty miles from our home. I was not just uncomfortable with the distance, but unsure that we were making the best decision for the “hospital” to receive his SCI or BMT. The nurses at ALGH have been outstanding. Anna in the Infusion Center took care of my husband for three days. She was caring, competent, and exceptional in her care delivery. There was not a minute that I was not comfortable with what she was doing and my husband felt the same. She not only took care of him, but she also took care of me. This says volumes about her concept of healing and holistic care. On the last day, she allowed another patient with MM to speak briefly with hubby and we were so encouraged. Anna is a keeper!
