Anna Locklin, FNP-C

Over the last year, Anna has made house calls to patients (not appointments) to check on ill patients or those who have socioeconomic hardships. She uses her own money to help them out with simple household items and provides a sounding board for them during crisis. This is normal operating procedure for Anna. In fact, her heart is so big that the Monday before Christmas, one of our patients disclosed that their finances were very tight, and her children would not have Christmas gifts because she just could not afford them. Anna asked our CMA to call the patient and get the sizes of the three children, and then Anna went out to purchase clothing, wrapped gifts, and delivered them to the patient to give to the children. This is nothing new for Anna. Historically, she purchased a pair of eyeglasses for an elderly patient who had broken his glasses and could not afford a new pair. There are multiple examples of her going above and beyond and making every patient a VIP, despite their economic status. She is the perfect example of a servant leader and provider.
