During my week-and-a-half stay at UPMC Harrisburg, this nurse provided the most attentive and compassionate care. She made it her mission to ensure I was always comfortable and checked on me frequently, offering constant reassurance. What truly sets her apart is her empathy, especially after my cancer diagnosis. She shared her personal experience as the daughter of a cancer survivor, something she didn’t have to do, but that meant the world to me. She stayed with me during some of my most difficult moments, listening and offering comfort when I was overwhelmed by emotion. She went beyond her role as a nurse to make me feel truly seen and valued. It takes a special person to offer such deep care. I’m beyond grateful for her presence in my journey. Her kindness and compassion make her an exceptional nurse. I will always remember the impact she had on me.
