Anna became our nurse after a long, restless night. She started the day with a kind smile and encouragement. Due to excess fluid, respiratory distress quickly spiraled downward. Anna was very quick to evaluate his condition and jump into action while remaining calm. She called in additional assistance as she worked efficiently to address the problems at hand. She stayed by his side to continue evaluating his condition. He also had 3 IVs blow within 48 hours so Anna did her best to keep his 4th IV in place. She carefully redressed it and flushed it to make sure it was still good. She was very thorough in every aspect of his care. Anna was his nurse for 2 days and gave consistent, excellent care. She deserves to be honored for the care she gave him and our family while at the hospital.
