Anna was taking care of a patient that was being noncompliant with PT. She didn't even want to leave her room. Anna created a Taylor Swift scavenger hunt for the patient. She placed different song titles throughout the unit for the patient to find. Once the patient found the songs, she had different things she was supposed to do with each song. The patient absolutely loved it. She ended up walking 5 laps a day to try and find all of the hidden song titles. Anna printed out a chart for the patient to fill out what she found and how she completed each of her tasks. Anna used her creativity and passion to help a patient complete her PT goals. She was able to help the patient go from dreading and refusing her PT sessions to being excited to go out and walk. Anna went above and beyond to help this patient do what she needed to do but also have fun while doing it.
