This was not a one-time event as my wife has been in the hospital for over 4 months. Nurse Anna has gone over and beyond with my wife's care. Many times, nurse Anna helped me to provide personal care that my wife needed along with emotional support for both of us during difficult times of managing pain. She would even check in briefly to lift her spirits even when not directly assigned to her care. One particularly memorable event was when nurse Anna took extra time to help my wife communicate (she has expressive aphasia) and work out her challenges around timing her pain medication over the course of the day.
