Oh, sweet Anna. I didn’t really look at her like my nurse, she was so cool and laid back, I looked at her like a friend I had back in 8th grade. That's how comfortable I felt with her. She was giving me advice on a few things I asked her about and she didn’t use all those big doctor words. She made sure I understood everything she said to me. She’s letting you know that she cares. She was telling me different things as far as my health and she let it be known that she wasn’t just saying these things because she’s a nurse but because she cares. She never left my hospital bedside without asking if there was anything else I needed from her. Letting me know that it doesn’t matter what it is, and making sure I press my call light if I need help with anything. She puts herself in her patient's shoes even though she’ll never know how we feel on a pain level. She puts herself in this hospital bed and treats me how she would want to be treated so she treats us as if it’s her. We need more nurses like her. Thank you. Anytime I pressed the call light, she made sure she came, she listened, and she figured out what I needed to e done and did anything to make me feel comfy. She did all these things with no problem and with a smile. That then let me know that this is her calling and that she loved being a nurse. You can tell her heart is set up to help others and she did it with a smile and never complained. Thank you, Anna. You're a great nurse! You are appreciated!

Thank you, Anna, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
