Anna Przywara RN, BSN, was caring for her patient on 3 West one night when she was informed her patient's husband was passing away on another unit. Without any hesitation, Anna made sure that this patient was able to go to the unit of her husband to be with him in his final hours. Anna had 5 total patients this night and was running back and forth between 3 West and another unit to still provide care and administer medication to her patient while still having 4 other patients on 3 West. Anna went above and beyond this night to ensure her patient could see her husband. All the while, Anna was still providing exceptional care to her other patients. This is not the first time Anna has gone the extra mile for her patients, it is daily. She exemplifies what it means to be a nurse; her compassion and care for her patients are truly amazing.
