At 2:40 am, I came to the ER in full labor with my third child. The ER registration ladies were stressed a bit and while waiting to check in my contractions were significantly getting worse. My husband continued trying to check me in while I walked down the hallway trying to cope with the pain. I was begging for a cold cloth and to sit down. The ER staff would not let me sit or lie down, they kept saying that the OB nurses were on their way and to just keep holding on. I was telling them how bad the pressure was and was about to squat down on the floor when Nancy and Anna came around the corner and got me on a stretcher to take me upstairs. When Nancy and Anna got there they immediately realized the baby was coming any minute and stayed calm and collected. We got to the delivery room around 2:50 am and my sweet boy was born at 2:56 am. Nancy and Anna have the sweetest and calmest souls I have ever seen. They went above and beyond taking care of me and keeping me calm through the pain. They also did a great job taking care of my son after he was born. If I ever have more babies, I will personally request these two ladies as my nurses. They are truly DAISY Nurses.
