This nurse looked me in the eyes and told me, “Mr. D, we are going to help you get well.”  I cried.  

Her spirit gave me constant hope and drive.  Anna knew I was afraid and clueless; however always keeping me aware of every level of my care.  Always reassuring me I was never a bother.  She encouraged me to rest and we had conversations about life, goals, aspirations, and dreams. The way she trained and taught those who shadowed her was amazing.  So patient and kind.

There are so many stars here at NWCH.  Every now and then, some stars glimmer while others SHINE!  Anna SHINES!  Anna is the glue that holds the team together so, so well.  

The care given at this hospital is a direct result of the mission and vision of this administration being carried out by employees like her.
