Anna was my post-partum nurse on Mother/Baby. Due to my complications with retained placenta, my care took up a lot of Anna's time. However, she showed me sincerity and compassion the entire time I was under her care. Then, as I hemorrhaged for a second time, Anna stood by me all the way to the Operating Room. She reassured me and made me feel comforted. Being a nurse myself, I knew my care was overwhelming and challenging as my condition was very rare. I knew Anna had lots of charting to complete even after her shift had ended. But, at no point in time did Anna ever make me feel that she was overwhelmed. Instead, she took the time to truly nurture my well-being. She embraced the challenges. I can say Anna was truly someone who saved my life as I bled internally. She will always be someone I pray for because she was a guardian angel during the most difficult time in my life. I cannot begin to thank Anna for the care she provided me. She is a true DAISY Nurse and Genesis is very lucky to have her!
