Anna’s role of being a nurse goes on even after her shift is over. Anna took care of an elderly lady who was being placed in an extended care facility for the very first time. The patient was extremely anxious and scared. Anna sat with the patient to help ease her concerns and told her that she would visit her the very next day. “On her day off”, Anna kept her promise and visited her elderly patient. The patient’s family was so impressed with Anna’s visit that they raved to everyone about how extraordinary the Beaumont Nurses are.
